Each of these foods has the same amount of carbohydrates in them
ByWith the Four Week Fat Loss plan we restrict the amount of energy dense carbohydrates, when you watch this video and you can see that there is the same amount of carbohydrate in a single wholemeal pita bread and 3 bunches of asparagus, it’s easy to see why we don’t get hungry on this plan

With regards to eating all this asparagus, I like asparagus but nit 3 bunches of the stuff as that’s alot and would work out very expensive compared to the pitta bread.
Only 2 bunches of Asparagus are over £5 and a whole packet of wholemeal pitta bread is 50p.

Hi Karen,
the vlog on the energy density of carbs was to show you that you can get loads more nutrients from vegetables without the same impact from carbohydrates, hence staying leaner, fitter and in better health.
wheat is cheap – and that’s why we’re encouraged to eat it (even though prices have gone up recently).
if you want a cheaper green vegetable then I suggest spinach, green beans or growing your own which is very rewarding and saves alot of money.
if you want cheap enery dense carbs then you can just go and buy lots of table sugar.
