I’m a 59 year old woman and I had my first child forty years ago. I’ve always struggled with my weight and on occasions I’ve been 20-30 lbs heavier than I am now. I’ve always enjoyed being active. For the past ten years I have done a 3 mile walk every morning before breakfast. Cycling in Oxford, UK is my mode of transport. I completed the Trailwalker Gurkha Challenge for Oxfam – walking 100 km in under 30 hrs. I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro, cycled round France and Ireland, walked the Pennine Way but I’ve never been able to shift the extra weight. Over the years I’ve tried other plans including those electrodes you attach to your belly and lie there dreaming that the fat will melt away. I’ve tried food combining which gave me more energy but was a real hassle to stick with. With Matt’s Four Week Fatloss Plan I lost 9lbs in 2 weeks and I’ve carried on, modifying Matt’s approach to suit me, and have now lost 21 lbs in total. I weigh 9 st 10 lbs, only a few pounds more than when I was 19. I have a clear understanding of WHAT I eat, the importance of WHEN to eat and WHEN to exercise. I rarely get hungry and don’t feel guilty when I indulge myself with a slice of pavlova because I am now in control and can make the necessary adjustments to allow for the occasional treat. Bliss! It’s been 6 months since I started and my weight has stabilised at a level I am very happy with. I feel liberated, fit and healthy – I’ve even entered a triathlon to celebrate my 60th birthday this year Thanks Matt!!!! Penny Bassett |
| Hi Matt,
I started your four week fat loss program about three weeks ago. I skipped the first week as I got myself organised in a few days and am now half way through my 3rd week and the results are amazing! I started from around 20%-21% Body fat at 78kg and am now at 16% and 75kg. People were stunned when I turned up for dinner at the weekend, they couldn’t believe how much I had lost in the 2 weeks since I had seen them last. Needless to say I gave them all your website address. I would like to get down to around 10% BF before I start putting more muscle on with your Anabolic plan, so I would be looking to start at least 4-5 weeks away. I am very interested in the new pricing structure as finding £1000 straight off is not the easiest thing in the world. Thank you for this amazing fat loss program and I can well believe the hype around your Anabolic plan. I cant wait to get started! Regards, |

I started the program at 109kg, which is roughly 10-12kg above my lean weight. What attracted me to this system was the fact that it highlighted principles to follow, rather than just saying "Eat a balanced diet" or "Eat this many caloies a day", things that are meaningless and have always backfired for me in the past. Over the period of the intensive phase, which I have tried to keep to for 8 weeks, I went down to 103kg. I am certain it would have been more, but I got injured and then ill soon after I started exercising twice a day. I was never hungry whilst on the plan. And I now have the basic knowledge that most people have no idea about to keep a check on weight gain through eating certain number of calories, but many of them coming from starchy foods, as those provided a large number of my calories previously. So now I change my macro-nutrient profile to fit. I have already recommended it to a friend and will continue to do so. Marc Butler |

(And the really weird thing is that I’m enjoying the food MORE than what I was eating in the ‘bad old days’ before I got started.) I used to think dieting meant I had to eat flavourless, unappetizing meals. Yours is the first diet that I’ve managed to stick to (ever!) and I think the main reason is the menu – this diet is first one where I really enjoy the food selections. Also a lot of diets I’ve tried in the past had menus that contained ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce, let alone find in the Supermarket. Yours is just straightforward food suggestions and I really appreciate that. Anyway I just want to say I think your Four Week Fat Loss system is *brilliant*, and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone like me… who likes their food but wants to lose some lard!! Thanks again, P.S. At some point I *will* start following your excercise recommendations and I can’t wait to see how that speeds up my fat loss even more. Watch this space! |

My 21 year old has lost 1.75 stone the 20 year old just over a stone. These are boys who have been training so hard I was finding it impossible to believe they could carry weight. They had resting heart beats of 50 and 51.The eldest is an incredibly mobile prop. This next bit is I think very important. I know we had a lot to lose and percentages are possibly the important bit. We had days off the diet, we had end of season dinners we had a day at Twickenham left at 07.00 returned at midnight. We had a couple of family party’s as well. You get the picture a bit of excess. This has all happened in the space of 40 odd days. You have taught us more about food in those forty odd days than I had picked up in 40 odd years and I love good food. Our diet was good food not processed rubbish. But to many carbs. Loaves of wholemeal bread, pastas rice and sack full’s of spuds. We all understand now, how good carbs are BUT also when and when not to have a plateful. I really cannot thank you enough for way you have changed our eating habits. I have one final big favour to ask of you Matt. There is intense pressure on young lads to go down the Roid route. The amount of roids in use at the lower end of Rugby is getting worse. I wish you luck in all your new venture’s. THANK YOU. Dave Macdougall |

I’ve lost 10 pounds following the 4WFL programme. However I didn’t follow the plan religiously, I found it difficult to stick to doing the exercise. I went once a day to the gym most days. My body fat is down from 20% to about 14% body fat.

“I’ve been working with Matt for about 7 years. The information he has given me over the years has changed my life.
My name is Marc Butler. I am 36 and 186cm tall. When I started the program, I had returned to training for about 6 weeks after a long layoff under the guidance of a "personalised" program from a fitness website. I had found that I actually had put on fat mass during that time.
Okay, I’ve been lazy! I’ve not really been doing ANY of the exercise recommended in the program, and yet I STILL managed to lose 14 lbs in just under 6 weeks!
I feel a bit guilty that my whole family has benefited from just my subscription. We all eat in a totally different way. We feel better and the figures are incredible, I started at a hefty 19st and I weighed myself this morning 17 stone 6 and 3/4 pounds.
